Connect

dream big. live bold.

Come hear about All People, our heart, DNA and how you can activate your God-given gifts and talents within the local church. At Meet + Greet you will have the opportunity to connect with others that have made this house their home and who can help you find your place here.

Meet + Greet takes place every Sunday after each service.

At the end of our time together you will have the opportunity to explore our Teams and find one that fits your gifting. Teams are one of the best ways to meet people, get plugged into the life of the church and be challenged to grow personally and spiritually.

What is a Group?

We believe consistent involvement in Groups is a significant part of spiritual growth for a follower of Christ. We have student groups, small groups and midsize groups. Our student groups are for students in 8th-12th grades. They meet twice a month regionally for the purpose of connection and study.

Small groups are anywhere from 3-20 people who meet regularly over common interests, to read a book together, to study the bible, pray or simply hangout and deepen friendships. It is our desire that in these groups you have the opportunity to get to know a few people in a greater way. People who you can do life with, pray with and walk through challenging seasons together.

Midsize groups are larger groups of people that gather for weekly in-depth teaching or bi-monthly breakfast or activities. It is our hope that within these groups your Word level increases and new friendships are formed.

We firmly believe that you cannot fulfill the will of God for your life without having other mission focused, Christ following people in your life. People that will encourage you to dream big and live bold. It is our prayer that groups offer you the ability to connect with those very people.

Our Groups run in semesters: Spring, Summer and Fall. The Group finder will be live during each semester.

Water Baptism

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF WATER BAPTISM?

Water baptism is symbolic of our identification with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection and of our sins being washed away. It is a public declaration of the private decision you have made to follow Christ (Romans 3:23; 6:23; 10:13). As you are immersed underwater, you bury your old, sinful nature, and when you come up out of the water, you experience the new life and resurrection that belong to you through Jesus.

WHAT IS THE SIGNIFICANCE OF WATER BAPTISM?

Baptism is a symbol of a covenant and commitment, much like a wedding ring. This ring does not make a couple married; the ring is a symbol to others of the promise and covenant they made in their hearts to each other. Baptism is a demonstration, testifying before God and man of the promise and covenant a person has made in his heart with Jesus.

At the same time, baptism is more than just a symbol. There is a very real spiritual work that is accomplished in the waters of baptism as God cuts away the old, sin-loving nature from our hearts (Colossians 2:11-12). And when we come up out of the water, we celebrate our new life in Christ!

WHO SHOULD BE WATER BAPTIZED?

All those who have committed themselves to Jesus Christ as their Lord, by turning away from sin and trusting Him, should be baptized. While babies may be dedicated to the Lord from birth (1 Samuel 1:21-24), baptism is reserved for believers. Once you have committed yourself to Jesus Christ and acknowledge Him as Lord, you are ready for water baptism.
